SITs:

Birch, Anise and Clove (Saturday & Sunday)

ELEMENTS and LEVELS:

Saturday:
Novice (AM): Containers – Exteriors – FastFinds – Interiors – Interiors 2 – Solo
Excellent (PM): Containers – FastFinds – FastFinds 2 – Interiors – Interiors 2 – Solo

Sunday:
Novice (AM): Containers – Exteriors – FastFinds – FastFinds 2 – Interiors – Solo
Advanced (PM): Containers – FastFinds – FastFinds 2 – Interiors – Interiors 2 – Solo

Maximum 1 dog per handler per search to compete. Additional dogs run by the same handler in same search can run FEO.

DIVISIONS:

Standard, Pro & FEO (For Exhibition Only – not eligible for placements, Q’s or Awards)

FEES:

SITs: $20 each / Elements: $25 each / Day of Trial if not filled: SITs $25 / Elements $30

SPECIAL TRIAL INFO

Photographer: Reagan Pearman will be our trial photographer for both days. She is an amazing photographer whose photos are always amazing!

T-shirts: K9 Scent Games T-shirts will be available for purchase. $22 per shirt (taxes included)- quantities and sizes are limited. Order yours right on the Entry Form.

ENTERING REQUIREMENTS

Trial Opens: Monday, March 17, 2025

Trial Closes: Saturday, April 19, 2025 or when elements fill

We will only be accepting mail-in entries for this trial.
Entries must be postmarked no earlier than the opening date of March 17, 2025 and no later than the closing date of April 19.
To compete in this trial, your dog must be registered with KSG and have an Active status
A registration form is available below.
Entries are LIMITED and accepted on a first received basis until elements fill
NOTE: Novice will run in the morning each day. Excellent will run in the afternoon on Saturday and Advanced will run in the afternoon on Sunday.
- Check-in and briefing times for the afternoon elements will be provided
  after Registration for the Trial closes, but are anticipated to be between 12 – 1pm.
Please mail your entry form (one for each dog), a signed waiver and a check or money order to the address on the entry form
Make checks out to “Sunshine K9s”
There will be a $25 fee for returned checks
Your dog will need to pass KSG’s SIT for Birch to compete in Novice elements
Your dog will need to have passed KSG’s SITs for Birch, Anise and Clove in order to ENTER in the Advanced and Excellent levels
You can take the SIT at the trial and compete the same day for the Novice level! SITs for Advanced and above levels must be passed BEFORE entering.
If your dog has passed an ORT with NACSW, you no not have to take the corresponding SIT. Proof of passing the ORT is required and must be submitted with your entry form or emailed to the Trial Secretary before entering.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations received on or before Friday, April 18, full refund
Cancellations received on or after Saturday, April 19, there is NO refund
No refunds for no-shows
During this Trial weekend, move-ups will only be allowed from Saturday Novice to Sunday Advanced.
- Please contact me no later than April 18 in writing via email for move ups, changes or refunds.
  After that date, no changes or refunds will be made.
