PREREQUISITES

PREREQUISITES: To join this class, we have 4 prerequisites: (1) Your dog should be comfortable on leash, (2) Your dog must have a current rabies vaccination, (3) Your dog must be able to handle confinement during the class either in a crate, pen or in a safe and well-ventilated vehicle , (4) Your dog cannot be aggressive to people.

GENERAL WAIVER:

Rosana C. Dropkin, at her sole discretion, may refuse entry to a pet which is not healthy, is aggressive to people, or does not seem suitable for the services provided or may remove a pet from class which is considered a hazard or threat of any nature to any other animal or person present. No refund will be given under such circumstances. In consideration of the acceptance of my registration for this and all future dog training and/or K9 Nose Work® Classes (whether sessions, privates, drop-ins, events or otherwise- collectively Classes) that the above said dog and I register for as a team and are taught by Sunshine K9s LLC (SK9), I/We (Handler), on behalf of myself, my executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, take full responsibility for the behavior of my/our dog and agree to indemnify and hold harmless any location where Classes are held, SK9, its officers, directors, agents, employees and volunteers, and other participants in Classes against all claims of any nature for any loss or damage of any kind, including personal injury and loss of property arising out of or related to my acts or omissions and those of my dog by any cause. Additionally, I/we understand that the degree to which a dog is successfully trained is a function of the interest, commitment, and cooperation of the Handler. I/we acknowledge and agree that there is no guarantee that my/our dog will achieve the desired level of training, despite the best efforts of the instructor. If I/we decide to pull my dog from a paid session or Classes for any reason, I/we understand that any refund of the fee will be at the sole discretion of SK9. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement or to the Classes shall be submitted to arbitration in Blount County, TN, under civil arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator shall have the power to award attorney’s fees to the prevailing party. The arbitration award shall be enforceable in the courts of the State of Tennessee in Blount County.

RELEASE

I also understand that SK9 may subsequently use, for publicity or promotional purposes, my name and/or pictures/videos of me and/or my dog without liability or obligation to me.

PHOTOS / VIDEOS:

I understand that photos or videos taken during class, even of my own personal dog, may not be posted on social networks or other web sites without permission from SK9.
